New (School) Year, New You…

They say that September is the new January, which makes sense, especially for us parents who have spent six weeks navigating school holidays.
Suddenly, from 2nd September, we gain a little bit of freedom. Now it’s time to choose what to do with that freedom;
Do we go back to sinking the extra time into work, into household chores or into trips to Costa?
Or do we dedicate a little extra time into creating habits that the future us will thank us for?!
I know this sounds cliché, but every decision that you make will not only determine your short/medium-term health, but also, however far away it may seem, it will determine your health into ‘older’ age.
Making that change doesn’t have to mean overhauling your entire life overnight. It’s about small, sustainable steps. Maybe it’s carving out 2 – 3 hours a week that are just for you. Maybe it’s swapping that mid-afternoon scroll for a walk. Or perhaps, finally, it’s giving yourself permission to prioritise your health the way you prioritise everything (and everyone) else.
September created a natural reset. It’s a chance to start fresh while the kids get back into their routines. If you’ve been thinking about getting stronger, dropping a few pounds, or simply feeling more confident in your own skin, now is the perfect time to take action.
That’s why at JWC we time our programme intakes to alight with this period.
Our tailored 1:1 Personal Training sessions and our 8-Week Shape Up Programme are both are designed with real people in mind. No quick fixes, just achievable, lasting results.
So, what will you choose this September—another coffee run, or an investment in the future you?
