The early bird, burns the fat!
At JWC we offer group training sessions throughout the day, at regular intervals. In fact, there is an average of 8 sessions per day, all of which are led by our qualified and experienced personal trainers.
Unsurprisingly, in some respects, our 6:00am and 7:00am sessions are our least busy. I guess this is because our bed is an awesome place to be, especially when it's cold, wet and dark outside - otherwise known as England!
But what about when we start to look at the benefits of exercising before your body knows what's going on?!
Now we know that 5:30am-6:00am alarms don’t sound very appealing... but give us a chance to change your mind because we think it could make your day a whole lot better.
We’re here to tell you about the benefits of training before your day really begins and why we believe you should give it a go!
Over 10-hours to find reasons why you shouldn’t go
So, you wake up at 6, leave the house at 7, work till 5, home at 6. That’s over 10-hours for you to talk yourself out of training and give yourself reasons or be given reasons why you shouldn’t train. But, if you wake up in the morning you have no time to talk yourself out of your gym session as you’ve ensured you’ll fit it into your day, just by waking up 60-minutes earlier.
Calorie Burning Increase
Exercising kick-starts the metabolism and what better time to do that than at the start of your busy day. The benefits of exercise linger throughout the day. Did you know that you continue to burn calories after the workout is complete? Use this
benefit during the day when you are eating instead of when you are sleeping. By keeping your metabolism elevated, you will be burning more calories all day long. Sounds good right?
Energy Level Increase
How does having more energy for the rest of your day sound? Working out early morning, before breakfast, has been said to boost energy levels by priming the body for a big day of fat burning.

More YOU time
Now this is the big one. Think about it you get to come home from work at 6 and have some tea with your family, watch a bit of TV, walk the dogs, relax with loved ones, chat with your children about there day.
Mentality focus
Training in the morning will make you more alert and ready for the day ahead of you. It switches the brain on and will help you to feel more focused throughout the day. It’s a great wake-up call for your body and mind, improving your productivity!
So how about you try this approach to training for a few months and see if you start to feel any of the benefits outlined above, we guarantee you will...
